Terms of Service
Effective date: July 17, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the C For Care Giver platform, website, and related services (the “Services”), operated by C For Care Giver (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
2. What the Services do
C For Care Giver provides software that helps a caregiver agency connect families with caregivers and manage scheduling, bookings, messaging, invoicing, and related operations. We provide the platform; the caregiver agency is responsible for the care services, caregiver vetting, and the relationship with families and caregivers. We are not the employer of caregivers and are not a party to the care arrangement between a family, a caregiver, and the agency.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
- Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Not misuse the Services — including no unauthorized access, scraping, reverse engineering, interference with operation, uploading malware, or attempting to breach security.
- Not use the Services to harass, harm, or endanger any person, especially children in care.
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of information you access through the Services.
4. Bookings, care, and caregivers
Care requests, shift assignments, and scheduling are coordinated through the agency. Availability, confirmation, and fulfillment of any booking are subject to the agency’s policies. While the agency works to provide qualified caregivers, you are responsible for exercising your own judgment about any caregiver or family you interact with. We do not independently guarantee the suitability of any caregiver or the conduct of any user.
5. Payments and fees
Invoices for care services are issued through the platform and payable by the methods made available (for example, card payment processed by our payment provider, Stripe). You authorize the applicable charges for services you book. Caregiver pay and agency fees are handled according to the agency’s arrangements. Except where required by law or expressly stated, payments are non-refundable; refund and cancellation terms are set by the agency. All amounts are in U.S. dollars.
6. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the Services to violate any law, infringe anyone’s rights, circumvent the agency to avoid fees, transmit false or misleading information, or engage in any activity that endangers a child or other person. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Services, including all software, text, graphics, logos, and design, are owned by C For Care Giver or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for their intended purpose. Content you submit remains yours, but you grant us the rights needed to operate and provide the Services.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any caregiver or family will meet your expectations.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, C For Care Giver will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Services in the three months before the claim arose.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless C For Care Giver and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will survive.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
